This smear was prepared during a frozen section of a ganglioglioma. Although having endfeet on small vessels would probably most favor reactive astrocytes, both neoplastic and reactive astrocytes were present in the entire specimen. Therefore, it is not absolutely clear whether some of these cells are neoplastic or not, I have labeled them as "astrocytic proliferation". (H&E)
