Clinical History: The patient was a 76 year-old male with a significant past medical history of end-stage renal disease on dialysis for 4 years, hypertension, coronary artery disease, anemia of chronic disease, hepatitis C, chronic heart failure with reduced ejection fraction, and type 2 diabetes. ---- 8A1-3 Multiple magnifications of the occipital lobe ependymal seam proceeding from the lateral ventricle. Notice the unusual combination of ependymal tubules with typical thickened microvasculature.
