1B1 Superficial Siderosis (Case 1) Cerebellum L side whole mount
The whole mount of the left cerebellar hemispheres shows prominent etat glace; however, higher magnification of the site shows little evidence of substantial loss of Purkinje cells, no Bergmann astrocytosis and little hemosiderin deposition. After presenting this side in several micrographs (1B2,3) I will show the right cerebellar hemisphere which is extensively involved. (H&E)
