The patient was a 43-year-old woman with a history of transverse myelitis with resultant paraplegia, chronic pain, placement of a spinal cord stimulator and intrathecal pain pump, who presents with worsening headaches. Imaging showed increasing vasogenic edema within the right frontal lobe. CT with contrast did not reveal any clear underlying mass or abscess.
