9C1-3 This is the 2024 specimen. Sections consist largely of cyst contents composed of "flaky" keratin and anucleate squamous cells with focal areas of calcification. Fragments of the cyst wall is composed of fibrous tissue, gliotic brain parenchyma and a keratinized stratified squamous epithelium with patchy areas of chronic inflammatory cell infiltrate including multinucleate giant cells and cholesterol clefts; however, there were no adnexal elements.
