2A1-3 This cyst was identified in the scalp of a 35 year old woman. ---- Sections show a subcutaneous cyst lined by squamous epithelium, lacking a significant granular layer, containing eosinophilic laminated keratinous material. The adnexa seen are not part of the lesion, only reflecting its scalp origin (H&E)
