The decedent was a 58-year-old man with a history of alcoholic cirrhosis and progressive supranuclear palsy with extraocular movement impairment and atypical Parkinsonism. The pituitary findings were incidental. ---- The gross specimen shows the adenohypophysis, neurohypophysis and a cyst apparently arising from the intermediate lobe.
