6C1,2 The glioneuronal tissue is highlighted by a glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) immunostain, which also shows multiple nodules of glioneuronal heterotopia within the cyst wall. Patches of apparent flattened ependymal lining are also present. The extent of glial elements is well shown. (GFAP IHC)
