These abnormal cellular collections (arrow) were discovered on resection of the temporal lobe for intractable epilepsy. In other sites a Dysembryoplastic Neuroepithelial Tumor (DNET) had been previously resected. We have considered these associated malformative lesions. These cellular collections were typically confined to the cerebral cortex.(H&E)
