This patient is a 4 month old infant female with a history of intractable seizure disorder since birth at 38 weeks of gestation. ---- 1A1-3 MRI of the cerebral hemispheres demonstrates marked expansion of the left cerebral hemisphere (for a radiologist - right side image), in one site displacing part of the cerebellum, which appears equivocally enlarged. The sulcation of the left hemisphere appears simplified with broader individual gyri.
