The patient is a 12 week old infant with a history of early onset of seizures whose workup demonstrated enlargement of the left cerebral hemisphere relative to the right, with corresponding dilatation of the left lateral ventricle. ---- 6A1-4 MRI images demonstrate an impressive degree of hemimegalencephaly which involves nearly the entire left cerebral hemisphere.
