Images from a previous diagnostic slide session of the AANP (1994, case 9) from a patient with Galloway-Mowat syndrome, an autosomal recessive neurodegenerative disease characterized by microcephaly. In the case shown there is mostly a migrational disorder with numerous leptomeningeal heterotopias (arrows) that form prominent connections with underlying cortex in this section of frontal lobe (H&E)
