Another example of alobar holoprosencephaly (6A1 dorsal, 6A2 ventral aspects) from a fetus of 22 weeks gestation born to a diabetic mother. Examples of holoprosencephalic brains have a remarkably similar appearance, although the size of the ventricle differs and the extent of the organization of the rim cortex.
