Case 13 - This patient was a 6 month old full term neonate with hydrocephalus resulting from aqueductal stenosis with periventricular calcifications thought to result from prenatal CMV infection. ---- This malformation has been called cerebellar polymicrogyria in the past but may have little in common with the cerebral form and, in many cases is simply designated as cerebellar cortical dysplasia (arrows, H&E).
