Case 1 - This neonate is the male product of a 32+ week gestation who died within an few hours of birth with complex congenital anomalies consistent with "limb body wall complex", an entity which is typically sporadic. ---- This whole mount of the cerebellum and its dentate nuclei show overall enlargement of one nucleus (arrow) and more complex serpiginous contours. The opposite dentate (arrowhead) appears much smaller although there is a degree of asymmetry in the cut. (H&E)
