History In this case (used previously to illustrate another feature) there were gross features consistent with Meckel-Gruber syndrome including an occipital encephalocele, polydactyly with six fingers on each hand, six toes on the left foot and five toes on right foot and kidneys with cystic renal dysplasia and renomegaly. In addition, the newborn has features related to clinical history of oligo/anhydramnios (aka, a “Potter sequence”) including a flat face, multiple joint contractures and bilateral talipes equinovarus.
