This image is the superficial cortical portion of the lesion. There is increased cellularity extending down the Virchow-Robin spaces (arrows). Meningioma may be associated with meningioangiomatosis but we are unsure if the superficial portion of the process represents meningioma. The distal collagenous fingers (arrowheads) lack this Virchow-Robin expansion. (H&E)
