This was an infant girl born after 39 week gestation who lived less than 6 hours. Pregnancy was complicated by antenatal diagnosis (at 32 weeks gestation) of a large intracardiac ventricular tumor with multiple smaller cardiac tumors, hydrops fetalis and fetal MRI evidence of CNS tubers and subependymal growths. Genetic studies established tuberous sclerosis.
