The cortex marked with an arrow in #1A1,2 is seen in an H&E stained whole mount. The tuber is demarcated by blue arrowheads and is significantly abnormal in comparison to the adjacent gyrus (red arrowhead). The arrow marks the region to be seen at higher magnification in #1B2,3. (H&E)
