Case 3 - The patient is a 23 month old girl with infantile spasms and imaging characteristics including extensive subcortical tubers throughout both cerebral hemispheres and subependymal nodules, with the most dominant lesion involving the left frontal lobe. ---- MRI FLAIR examination demonstrates increased intensity predominantly in the left frontal lobe tubers (arrow) and several examples of candle-gutterings.
