There is a marked increase in astrocytic nuclei, occurring as clumps and individual nuclei lacking visible processes, an appearance which is often associated with Alzheimer Type II nuclei, likely reflecting this patient's liver disease. However, the typical enlargement seen in Alzheimer type II nuclei is not present (H&E)
