Tissue islands are separated by vessels, both arteries and veins, of modest and appropriate size, with no evidence of hemosiderin, granular spheroids or encrusted neurons or astrocytes. The vessels are those expected in the leptomeninges at that site, without fibrous thickening, disorganization or hybrid vessels (H&E).
