Case 3 History ---- The patient is a 35 year old woman with headaches, nausea, generalized weakness and gait instability. MRI of the brain shows a bilobed, ring-enhancing mass in the cerebellar vermis with marked surrounding vasogenic edema. A bilateral suboccipital craniotomy was performed with biopsy followed by resection of intracerebellar mass involving the cerebellar vermis. Culture of the surgical specimen demonstrated fuseobacterium nucleatum.
