Case 11 History ---- This 65 year old patient had a history of systemic necrotizing vasculitis treated with prednisone and cytoxan. He developed numerous skin lesions, one of which was biopsied, and a pulmonary infiltrate, both of which were cultured and grew Nocardia. Even with treatment using multiple antibiotics he developed CNS abscesses and died.
