Higher magnification of the abscess contents from image 15C2. The organisms are strongly stained with GMS as very thin filamentous forms (smaller than typical fungi) which were Fite and Acid Fast stain negative, a pattern most consistent with Actinomyces sp. organisms. (GMS stain)
