Case 2 History ---- (AANP Diagnostic Slide Session 1998, Case 3) This patient was a 50 year old female who presented with a progressively enlarging right frontal mass under her scalp in the absence of fever or focal neurological symptoms. She had a history of SLE with steroid treatment. The mass was thought to be a meningioma with extension involving the cranium, epidural and subgaleal spaces.
