1J4 Mycoplasma (Case 1) EM 018 - Copy copy
1J4-8 This capillary sized vessel shows several swollen endothelial cells which occlude much of the lumen. There are multiple collections of Mycoplasma-like particles (arrows, 1J4) which are seen at higher magnifications in subsequent images. These particles are osmiophilic, often contained in clusters, each individual element delimited by a membrane, and often with a dense aggregate within the particle. (Electron micrograph)
