2A-H Meningitic/Meningovascular Syphilis ---- 2A Whole mount of a portion of the frontal lobe shows significant cortical atrophy and dilatation of the sulci. The leptomeninges do have perceptible inflammation even at this magnification and the amount of parenchymal and perivascular inflammation is exaggerated in some folia (arrow).
