Case 11 History ---- The patient was a 44 year old man with a history of AIDS with CNS lymphoma, disseminated CMV, mycobacterium avium intracellulare and cryptococcus. ---- These nodular masses are noted in the leptomeninges of the cord. I will present the microscopic appearance of these lesions in the third section of the Aspergillus chapter. Multiple fungal abscesses were also found in the endocardium, myocardium, and epicardium.
