Case 7 History ---- The patient was a 33 year old white man with a history of cocaine/heroin abuse and hepatitis C who developed seizures and was biopsied, revealing aspergillus organisms, and died shortly thereafter. ---- 7A, B Thrombosis of this relatively large vessel by a fungal mass with partial invasion of the vessel wall (H&E).
