Case 4 History ---- This patient was a 59 year old man with chronic renal insufficiency and aplastic anemia with known cardiac valve vegetations. Numerous infarcts were identified in the CNS associated with fungi; however, there were no intravascular fungal thrombi in these images, only intramural growth.
