This coronal section shows cortical cysts (arrows) as well as basal ganglia soap bubbles (arrowheads). Even the smallest cortical cysts appear to originate from the leptomeninges (arrows) and extend flask like into the cortex likely reflecting invasion along Virchow-Robin spaces.
