Case 2 History ---- This SLE patient developed myeloid sarcoma of the right knee and was subsequently found to have a hypercellular bone marrow with granulocytic hyperplasia. The patient began induction chemotherapy and subsequently developed neutropenic fever and altered mental status with multiple lesions on MRI including a thalamic mass. His stormy course resulted in death shortly thereafter.
