Case 2 History ---- The patient is a 59-year-old man with HIV infection presenting with left-sided weakness and a three-week history of headache. Magnetic resonance imaging showed multiple enhancing T2/FLAIR hyperintense lesions involving the right thalamus, left putamen and bilateral frontal lobes. Material shown was derived from brain biopsy.
