Case 9 History ---- This patient was a 6 year old child with a history of medulloblastoma treated with CNS radiation. Headache and vomiting recurred and was treated with Decadron for the last month and a half of his life (AANP Diagnostic Slide Session 1965, Case 10). ---- 9A1,2 Low magnification appearance of the caudate and putamen in this patient demonstrates patchy loss of ependyma and large numbers of CMV-induced cytomegalic cells in the subependymal region.
