Case 2 History ---- The patient was a two year-old girl who presented with a frontal lobe hemorrhage, seizures, left hemiparesthesia with normal MRA and angiogram. The patient was biopsied and HSV-I encephalitis was diagnosed. The patient has survived to the present day with multiple CNS lesions as the residua of HSV-I encephalitis (see images #2E1-3).
