Case 3 History ---- This patient was a 43 year old male with HIV infection and a history of PML, wasting syndrome, molluscum contagiosum, condyloma acuminata, pneumocystis carinii and Kaposi's sarcoma. He was treated with high dose Bactrim and Prednisone. He was admitted for left-sided homonymous hemianopsia. A stereotactic brain biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of PML. He died shortly thereafter.
