1A0 Case 1 History
Case 1 History ---- This patient was a 95 year old female with a 9 year history of worsening dementia, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, arteriosclerotic heart disease, and imaging findings of a left frontal lobe infarct. Autopsy demonstrated definite AD by the CERAD criteria and there is a 'high' probability that the participant’s dementia can be attributed to AD pathology according to NIA-Reagan criteria. The demonstration of unsuspected PML in this patient consisted of a single frontal lobe focus.
