8A1-4 At autopsy coronal sections show clotted blood which filled the right lateral ventricle and 3rd ventricle. Multiple brain nuclei show yellowish discoloration including basal ganglia, especially globus pallidus, thalamus, and dorsal aspects of the midbrain show prominent yellow discoloration:
