The patient is a 49 year old man with a brain lesion. Operative procedure: Resection. ---- The neurosurgical specimen consists of large, discrete lobules of amorphous to fibrillar, partially calcified material surrounded by palisaded mononuclear and multinucleate cells with an epithelioid appearance.
