4D1,2 Reticulin distribution in this case shows largely a normal acinar pattern (arrowheads) as well as areas of an expanded pattern with loss of acinar adenohypophyseal cells (arrow), also seen at higher magnification (4D2), in which the pattern may be subtly expanded. (Reticulin histochemistry)
