A large subset of plasma cells are also positive with IgG4 immunostain. (IgG4 IHC) ---- Comment: Presence of >10 Ig4+ plasma cells in a single high-power field is considered diagnostic for IgG4-related hypophysitis (PMID: 21593109, PMID: 27864854, PMID: 34528683) and supports a diagnosis of IgG4 related hypophysitis in the current case.
