7C1-3 SMA immunohistochemistry shows abundant small vessels with vessel wall damage and infiltration by immune cells, which, in some cases may represent only migration of inflammatory cells through the vascular wall. The SMA pattern of other vessels appear completely obliterated (arrows, 7C2 & 7C3).
