(electron micrographs) ---- Not shown: Electron microscopy, performed to examine mitochondrial morphology, revealed abnormal focal collections of mitochondria in the subsarcolemmal space. Some mitochondria have slightly abnormal shapes, but no crystals or abnormal cristae patterns are seen.
