Case 17 History ---- The patient is a 56-year-old man who presents with a myopathy. Operative procedure: Right biceps brachii muscle biopsy, right quadriceps femoris muscle biopsy. ---- 17A1,2 There is chronic myopathy with type I fiber predominance, irregular internal architecture, and mitochondrial pathology.
