In this fiber it appears there is more autophagic material than sarcomeres. (electron micrographs) ---- NM Division Report: The changes are not typical of a progressive dystrophy as there are relatively few necrotic or actively regenerating muscle fibers. The changes could be compatible with congenital muscular dystrophy or an immune disorder. Further workup showed non-diagnostic dystrophy related protein stains.
