7K1-4 Caveolin-3 staining inside a muscle fiber's sarcoplasm or lining its autophagic vacuoles signifies that parts of the outer cell membrane have become trapped inside the cell (which is often subtyped as “autophagic vacuoles with sarcolemmal features”, AVSF ) which may happen in conditions in which the autophagic process is overwhelmed.
