Case 2 History ---- The patient is a 4-year-old-girl with facial weakness, hypophonia, and hypotonia. She has a positive Gower's sign and prior to therapy walked on her toes. Clinical differential includes myopathy vs. congenital myasthenic syndrome vs. neuropathy. Operative procedure: Left quadriceps muscle biopsy. ---- 2A1 The low magnification image is surprisingly unimpressive. (H&E)
