Case 1 History ---- The patient is a 23-year-old woman who presented with swelling and tenderness of the right proximal arm with muscle weakness. A venous doppler scan raised the possibility of myositis. She had a normal creatine kinase (CK). Operative procedure: Right quadriceps muscle biopsy.
