Case 2 History ---- The patient is a 49-year-old male with a history of intermittent muscle soreness and elevated CK. Operative procedure: left quadricep muscle biopsy. ---- 2A1,2 H&E stains of frozen muscle sections show variation in muscle fiber size with more basophilia and have small internal cracks and/or clear regions.
